Pinoria (pinoria.com) is a free, ad-supported site. This policy explains what Pinoria itself stores, how advertising on Pinoria works — through Google and Ad.Plus — and the choices and rights you have.

What Pinoria itself stores

• On your device only: your saves, checklist progress and tool preferences are stored in your browser's local storage, on your own device. Pinoria has no accounts, does not receive a copy of your saves, and cannot see them. Clearing your browser's site data deletes them.
• Digest email (only if you subscribe): if you sign up for the Pinoria email digest, we store your email address solely to send that digest. We honour unsubscribe requests immediately and never sell your address.
• Short-lived server logs: our hosting provider keeps standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the page requested) for security and operations. We do not build visitor profiles from these logs.

Advertising — Google

Pinoria displays ads served by Google, including Google AdSense and Google Ad Manager. Google and its partners use cookies — including the DART cookie — and similar identifiers to serve ads based on your prior visits to Pinoria and other sites, and to measure ad performance. This may include personalised advertising where permitted.

How Google uses information from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

You can control or opt out of personalised Google advertising at google.com/settings/ads, and opt out of many third-party advertising cookies at aboutads.info and, in the EEA, youronlinechoices.eu. You can also block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Advertising — Ad.Plus

Pinoria also serves ads through Ad.Plus (ad.plus), a publisher monetisation partner. Those ads are delivered via Google Ad Manager together with Ad.Plus demand partners. Ad.Plus and its demand partners may use cookies and similar identifiers for ad delivery, frequency capping and measurement, as described in their own privacy policies. The same Google Ads Settings and industry opt-outs above apply to ads served through Google Ad Manager.

EEA / UK visitors and consent

Where consent is required (EEA and UK), personalised advertising on Pinoria is used only with your consent, collected through a consent prompt. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalised. You can change your choice by clearing this site's cookies and reloading, which will show the consent prompt again.

California privacy rights (CCPA / CPRA)

Pinoria itself does not sell your personal information. However, the use of advertising cookies by Google, Ad.Plus and their partners may be considered "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising under California law. You can opt out of that sharing by using the opt-outs above (Google Ads Settings and aboutads.info) and by blocking third-party cookies in your browser. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. California residents may also contact us at the address below to ask what categories of information are involved.

Children's privacy

Pinoria is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information (for example, a digest signup), contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy materially, we will update this page and the date above.
